Lauren attended the University of Melbourne completing her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, majoring in linguistics and human anatomy/physiology. Audiology was the perfect career choice, which incorporated many of her interests from her undergraduate degrees. After graduating from her Masters of Clinical Audiology, she worked in a number of different audiology practices, before joining the Knox Audiology team in 2017.
One of the highlights of Lauren’s audiology career has been undertaking volunteer work in Lima, Peru working with audiologists around the world and completing hearing screenings to investigate the audiological characteristics amongst school aged children in Lima.
Lauren is passionate about all aspects of audiology, from adult diagnostics and rehabilitation to pediatric diagnostics. For many adults, hearing loss can significantly impact their quality of life. Through working with her clients, she endeavors to find the best solution for them based on their unique needs and lifestyles, improving their quality of life.
One of Lauren’s favourite times of the week is visiting kindergartens and primary schools to complete hearing assessments, by playing listening games with the children.
In her spare time, Lauren loves learning and practicing new languages, staying fit and active but also has a sweet tooth and enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking.
