How we can still help you

In light of the current COVID19 situation there is a lot of uncertainty so at Knox Audiology we want to let you know we are still here to care for all your hearing and balance needs.

Currently we are still open at all of our clinics, Wantirna, Boronia, Doreen and Kew. Our audiologists are equipped with gloves and a face mask for all appointments and can provide patients with a face mask if this is required. All our staff are wiping all surfaces down and disinfecting equipment between appointments.

As a health care provider, we are considered an essential service, so it is ok for you to come in to see us if you are well.

So what services can we offer you?

  • Hearing assessments for children ages 9months+
  • Hearing assessments for adults
  • Employment hearing assessments
  • Auditory processing assessments
  • Tinnitus assessments
  • Balance assessments
  • Hearing aid discussions, fittings, adjustments and repairs
  • Custom earplugs

If you have concerns and wish to minimise your time in the clinic, we can have our audiologist call you at a time arranged prior to your appointment to discuss your history. We can also call you after your assessment has been completed to explain your results. This means you will only be required to be in the clinic for the assessment itself.

At this stage we are also happy to offer drop off/pick up services for hearing aid repairs in the local areas surrounding our clinics. Therefore if you are having an issue with your hearing aid, but don’t wish to leave your home, we will happily pick it up from you, and return it once it has been repaired. This service can be contact-less. Your hearing is important, and if your hearing aid is required to be sent away for repair and may not be back for a week, talk to the audiologist about the possibility of using a loan aid. We are also able to post out any batteries or supplies if required.

Most importantly, if you feel your hearing has dropped suddenly, please seek urgent medical attention from your GP and request a hearing assessment as soon as possible!
