Jane Louey

BSc(Hons), MClinAud, AAudA

Jane was drawn to the field of audiology because of the ability to combine her background in medical research and fascination for science with the chance to interact with people and the ability add value to people’s lives within in a relatively short period of time.

After graduating with a Master of Clinical Audiology from The University of Melbourne, she gained experience in adult hearing aid fitting and hearing rehabilitation in the government sector before joining the team at Knox Audiology.

Jane enjoys working with people of all ages through diagnostic hearing assessments, auditory processing disorder assessments and hearing device fitting and rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people to not only improve their hearing and communication ability, but to also improve their relationships with family and friends.

Jane’s love of learning results in much of her spare time spent reading and listening to podcasts, but also enjoys hiking or climbing something when she travels. Her most memorable hike was summiting Mt Kilimanjaro.

Jane’s favourite sounds: Rainfall, the crackling of an open fire, piano, string instruments and children’s laughter.
