As you may know Helen of Knox Audiology is passionate about helping others around the world as a business for good B1G1. And now she is walking her talk and has signed up as a member of the Rainbow unicorns to walk 30km in the Melbourne Coastrek next month. These dedicated ladies who are training for this great cause have ordered their colourful outfits today!

Helen is taking on this challenge in support of The Fred Hollows Foundation to restore sight to men, women and children across the world. Fred Hollows dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate, to achieve his dream to live in a world where NO ONE is needlessly blind.

Fred’s legacy has restored sight to over 2 million people living in the poorest communities in the world. It’s an incredible achievement, and one I am hoping you can help me to continue.

Did you know that 4 out of 5 people who are blind don’t need to be? These people could have their sight restored with a simple procedure that costs as little as $25, they just can’t afford it.

Wow, that really surprised me. For so many of these people, their blindness is preventable.

But the good news is…you can help.

Please sponsor my 30km trek next month to give the gift of sight and change lives. You’ll receive a tax-deductible receipt when you complete your donation.

Just a $25 donation can restore sight to a blind person living in the developing world.

Thanks so much for your support.
